AR has the 767s for like 35 dollars
OR
you can do like i did and paint your current wheels black
i did it on both my sets of wheels (white (now black) wagon wheels, and used to be chrome wheels)[addsig]

you could fit 31's on a stock jeep. I've got the Canyon wheel pkg from my Tj for sale. 5 tires and rims with 10,000 miles on them for $525. Those would look great on an older YJ. [addsig]

that canyon set are those the same ones on the jeep web site? and are your sure they will fit on my 87 YJ, and what type of tires come with them?[addsig]

On www.jeep.com they are the rims when you go into wrangler and photo gallery. Go under sport, it's the third pic there is a mountain in the background and the jeep is silver same rims. The tires on those rims are 30x9.50 the rims are 15x8 with a 5 on 4.5 lug pattern and a 5.5 inch backspacing. The brand tire is Goodyear wrangler GS-A. And if you have 5 on 4.5 lug pattern then they will fit. I have seen them on some jeeps around me area before. They don't fit on a CJ, so if your rims fit on a CJ they won't work. I'm pretty sure they will fit but you should check with somebody. [addsig]

I'm pretty sure the biggest tire you can run without a lift on a YJ is a 30x9.50 without any rubbing. We've put some 31's on YJ's before and they always seem to rub the springs at full turn.[addsig]

I concur with Raven, I believe 30's are the biggest a YJ can fit without a lift.

yj owner here, yes, 30x9.5 is the largest. 31's will fit, but only if you drive in a straight line all day long and never hit a speed bump.

30" tires will still rub on most YJ's, especially the older ones with worn leaf springs.[addsig]

stock size tires are just as good offraod on a stock lift as anyother tires size and do not rub! by going 29 inch to 30 or 31, you will gain at most 1/2" to 3/4" of lift. which is really not whole lot, it will reduce steering capabilities as well as axle articulation (flex), and you angle of departure and approach are unchanged. If you want to run 31's properly on a YJ, invest in a 1 or 2 inch bodylift and some 3/4" lift shackles.
just my 2 cents

I have 31's on my 93' YJ and the only time I get rub is when I try and over turn, i have never had wny other problems as far as going over bumps, and lord knows i hunt for those. You may be able to get away with 31's without rubbing if you get rims that will push the tires out a little. Just my 2 cents.- Chris[addsig]
