Timing belt.

Hello everyone. I'm replacing my timing belt soon and I need an advise on what brand I should go with and if there's anything I should replace since I'm doing the timing belt. 2.4l 2003 TJ. Thanks

Do you mean serpentine belt? Timing chain is located inside the crankcase at the base of your engine. Serpentine is the black one at the front that runs around your a/c alternator etc.

To answer your question, (if you are speaking of the serpentine belt), go to your local autozone and pick up a dura last. Nice belt, for a nice price.

Yes the serpentine I just finished doing I also did the water pump just incase but the idiot mechanic bent the big bottom pully while he was taking it out and have to wait till Monday to get it replaced :/

Should've done it yourself. Both are very easy DIY fixes
