ok, just finished up my jeep, now it need a bad-ass name, any suggestions.
it's an 87 yj, 4.2
the jeep is brown, the only name i could come up with was "BJ", but the girls dont seem to like that on too much..lol

LOL, i think i want something that isnt gonna make it sound worse than it already looks, brown has gotta be the worst colour that anyone can out on a vehicle. i wanna go with a military green, its one of the few colours that i like that will go with the ugly brown interior

How about Francis....that seems like a nice name.......or maybe Tom Abernathy.....that might be good.

Punctilious Stalwart, Bertha, Helga, Cereo, Olga, Jethro, etc.

Maybe Lance?

okies so all i had to go off of was "brown" so heres what we got......
Female - Kiona (means brown hill) Sienna (reddish brown)
Male - Dooley (brown hero) umberto (colour of the earth)
also you mentioned bad-ass - me thinks warrior
Female - Zelda (warrior) Emlyn (brave and noble warrior)
Male - Slone (warrior) Duncan (darkskined warrior)

i dunno go to babynames.com and type in a meaning you like see what comes up :)

i called my jeep Mr.Spunkster

How 'bout a screen name I use occasionally when I need a good sock puppet:

Ahetma Vaakenjaab

Got a hot rod car here in Oregon named "Under-Pressure" (ZZ-TOP) via N.O.S. - I quess you could put an X-lax in the tank and get the same effect LOL ...LBR

mine has been nicknamed the blue unicorn because of the stinger on the front... its kinda funny

I'd let the name come to you. It'll have more meaning if you do... Mine's simplistic, yes, but really suits it... I was doing my very first oil change on it, as well as a tune up and things of that nature, just some general maintanance, and I was talking to it... (yes, I have a strong bond with my Jeep)... Awww, Jeepy, does that feel good, yeah... And there I had it, just like that...

My brother was in the same dilemma, what do I name it, what do I name it... I told him the same thing, let it come to you... His '86 Grand Wagoneer is named... Chuck...

My grandfather was Henry Charles Clayton, went by Chuck all his life, and although he always said that we would learn more than he could ever know, he taught us so very much in all aspects of our lives... Every time I wrench on my Jeep, it's in his garage, with his tools, and even though he has been gone for nigh on 3 years now, he's still right there with me... My brother's planning on going to school to be a mechanic because of him...

So my advice is to let something meaningful come to you, it'll be all the more special when it eventually does...
