Sounds like you could be right on with air pocket in heating system. A few weeks ago I replaced the radiator and then had my top radiator hose split on me. If it is an air pocket what is the best way to bleed it out?

If it were me doing this I would loosen the top hose from the heater core on the Thermostat side and force some water through it with the ol Garden hose. the hooker back up to see if that helped. tug
