Taking out a body lift..

i am going to take out my 3 inch body lift. do i need to get a set of stock bolts or will the bb lift one works..?? i am pretty sure i need new bolts but am looking for some conformation on this. also where might i be able to get a set of stock body mount bolts? thanks all.

If it were a one inch kit the bolts may work, but since u have a three inch body lift, your gonna have to go back to stock length bolts. I would either contact quadratec, 4wd or collinsbrosjeep, or maybe just run down to the ole hardware store.

I would think you can reuse the bolts only if they are threaded far enough down.. probably not though, most bolts that long are only threaded an inch or so. Can't help on where to get stock bolts unless you can find someone who wants to buy a 3" body lift cheap (or trade their old bolts)

You HAVE to use stock length bolts, the longer bolts will run into the tub floor, pushing up causing a dent or tear in the metal.

You should be able to find some shorter bolts at a hardware or fastener-type store that would work. But no, the 3" BL bolts won't work

there is only so much space in there... and... i'd suggest getting new ones anyway

Are you going with smaller tires or doing a SOA?
