TailGate Lining

I went out and bought my tailgate finally. Ended up paying 65 for it with the brackets to mount it on. I herculined the inside of the tub when i first got my jeep and started working on it. And now im workin on painting the outside of the jeep, thinking im gonna go with yellow. Anyways im not sure if i should paint the tailgate the color of the jeep or herculine the inside towards the tub or what. Its an older CJ so it kinda mounts on the outside and swings down and doesnt sit flush with the tub so i wasnt sure. Wats everyones opinion?

I lined the inside and painted the outside the color of the body - corvette yellow. 8)

The inside of mine is hurculined also, but the outside is black so...

I just herculined the inside of mine this weekend.... hit the inside of the tailgate too. I think it looks good when you have the tailgate closed up and the liner continues all the way around. Personal preference though I guess.
