I have a 06 Rubi w/ 4'' lift and never installed it, but mine is a LJ. But on a SWB wrangler you will probley need it. Every jeep is different.Try without it and if you get vibration then install it. Or you can do a MML.
I've heard of cases where people can get away without TC drops or SYE. They are rare, and many times, another wrangler of the same model and year will need the drop, so like lj said, try it. If you get too many vibes, just install it.
