SYE question with my new engine

MAN YOU ARE THE MAN! I have been trying to do this forever now. I finally did it right. Thanks. So if you have time, back to my differential swap. Are parts to a 14 bolt expensive (brakes, perches, etc) Tom Woods would be able to put the right adapter at the end of the d shaft?

you can do a dick brake swap for about 200 i think, pearches are cheap and you will just run a 14bolt size ujoint on the end of your d-shaft

back to the topic here... 35's on a 2.5" lifted soa will look just fine... you can run that with a dana 44 front and rear... a GM 12 bolt will do just fine as well... as far as the driveshafts... you will want a custom shaft made to the measurement AFTER all lifting is done...

and... when you perform the soa and 2.5... drop those shackles down to either stock, or a 1" lift... it is not necessary to have shackles that long, especially on such a highly lifted vehicle

BBJ?

My stock springs are sagging too much to keep much longer. I am planning on ditching thoise shackles for the SOA. I am just trying to figure out what will be best in the long run and look descent, but of course with a budget! I like the idea of those 35 x 14.50 boggers. I am thinking if I can make my dana 35 last me until i get the money for a bigger axle, different bolt rims, and big tires...I will be happy

Put an AAL in those springs, thats what I'm doin. It may give you about 1.5" of lift but then the springs will settle down to an inch i heard. I am doing the same thing on my YJ. AAL and SOA with 36"... it will look fine with 35s, I have seen 33s on an SOAd jeep before and it looked great.
