i have had my '03 Tj Sport since last August, and needless to say, didn't get much time to ride with a soft top last year!with the dawning of spring,i decided to play with my tops,so last week i shucked the hardtop, and put on the soft top without any side or rear curtains.the next day i pulled it so i could play with my bikini top/windjammer/duster combo.i loved it,but with the threat of severe thunderstorms imminent,i pulled that and went back with the soft top for rain protection, this time of course i left all side and rear curtains in.my question is this-i noticed when driving that that top billows up,which i assume is normal.but i also noticed that the rear side window curtains are"sucked-in",as if there is an external force shoving them inward.perhaps this too is normal?i passed by several other jeeps today, and didn't notice it on them, which makes me wonder!i mostly drive on the highway at 65-75 m.p.h. i should also add that this is a brand new bestop supertop, and i have the full hard doors.when i rolled down the driver's window, this situation seemed to worsen, which was opposite from what i thought would happen!it seems like wind rushing in would make the top billow up more, much like a parachute filling with air!is this a normal thing i should just accept,am i crazy?just want some info from some of you veteran Jeepers!
