ok, i left kansas city on thursday and had a problem with the jeep. i replaced all the rod bearings, they weer really loose. now ther is more noise than before. can anyone help me . thanks a lot.

it is loud, sounds like chinese fighting men, but there is no loss of power.
it will quite down and not ping at all. there is a high pitched noise that happened twice, then i turned around and went back to my mothers house. it will make noise and then it will be very quite. when i removed the rod bearings they were all loose. i could shake them with my hand. i put engine lube on the bearings b4 i installed them. i put in 5w 03 motor oil, new filter. no leaks. jsut every now and then i can hear the chinese fighting men.
