Strange sound???

My 95 YJ have developed a strange sound comming from somewhere around the front of the jeep... the Transmission forward.

Anyway its hard to describe, kinda a spring sound, or a ""Boing"" like you plucked a spring like a banjo.
Happens with every bump in the road so offroad its constant and driving me crazy.
I have been all under the Jeep looking for something and cant find anything.
Just thought someone might have some ideas for me to start checking.

You did a lift not to long ago right? Maybe just start by checking/retourqing bolts?

check all the bolts, and look at your fuel, brake lines. I have had strange sounds under the front of my jeep before kinda like you are discribing and it was the brake line that runs across the front of the jeep from one side to the other, it was vibrating against the frame. sounded springy when it did it.

Finally figured it out and its nothing like I expected.
Turns out the Rivets that hold the air cleaner housing to the fender were about to fall out so the housing was just springing back and forth.
Anyway it was a cheep fix so I'm Happy!!
