Stock axles ARE Dana axles. You should know this, since you have Dana 44's in your Jeep
Seriously, many Jeepers upgrade from the stock D30 and D35 axles to D44's or even D60's, sometimes a Ford 9", 8.8", or even Corporate axles. The stock axle shafts are thin, which break easily, and the axle tubes bend easily under stress.[addsig]

If you get a lift, depending on how high you go, you might have to change you axles. an imprtantfact one might not want to forget lol Rob
