Spring ratings for suspension lifts?

Since putting on my hardtop, I've noticed a big difference in the way the jeep rides. I guess because of the weight of the hardtop, it's not as bouncy and the ride is much smoother. Just wondering if anyone knows if the springs that come in suspension lifts are made to perform best with the hardtop on or if they even consider this when making the springs for lifts. This could be the cause of bouncy rides for those you who install a suspension lift and have a soft top on.

i know skyjacker makes stiffer springs for hardtop models and softer ones for soft top models in the rear with the flex series kits . I went stiffer springs even though i have the soft top because of all the weight i dumped on the back with the tire carier and stuff also lookin into a roof rack. but check into skyjacker..they a bit expensive but its the only company i know if that does that..chances are lots of people do it.

I'm not looking for new suspension, just curious about how the springs are rated for different lifts.

you could also add a leaf to the main packs in the rear of your jeep to compensate for the added weight of the tire casrrier, oversized spare and jackall. i know how the weight back there can add up and it does make jeeps sag abit in the rear.
