well, now that I have for info on lockers and spools that our public library, who can suggest what vehicle i can scrounge some D44's from that would be too much of a hassle to install.....I read that a 72-73 Jeep commando had a D44 thats a direct swap in a narrow track CJ7 (like mine ^ ^), but its unlikely I'll find one around here.... So a HUGE list wouldn't hurt, of vehicles for source parts if its not too much trouble. That way I can get away from the "setup thats formula for breakage" cause I really don't want to be stuck witha broken axle where we wheel up here....some are a location that s formula for some big hurtin....."
Now, I'm off to swap in my other 5.9litre without the clattering wrist pin !
