Re: Black Smoke

On the rear spring spacers, where does the flat part of the spacers go?
I dont know if the springs are in the correct position.
There is no spring stopper in the bottom of the rear spring pad that holds the springs in the correct place like the front does. Does any one know what I mean?

ya it will pop into place In extreme flex in the rear it almost comes up and off but it wont just lower it down after you install the spacer and it will know where to go

There is nothing like that on the rear. You are talking about the little Slit on the front the keeps the Front spring fron spinning? Even the Fronts will spin under flex but they will work themselves back to where they belong. If you notice that the rear springs are different in the way they are made at the ends. the Front is Open at the bottom and the rear goes back down to a small ring at the bottom. This Ring will spin freely and is held in-place by the Stump that in the center is the Spring perch.

Ok, Then I must have it right. I heard the spacers pop after I flexed it out. I thought the reason that it did that was because they were not in correct, but if it was a self ajusting pop, then im good to go. Now ive had them in for a while everything seems to be ok.
