Since the cage is so close to the top, I'm guessing you can't drop the soft top. But hey, it can be yours for only $22K (maybe alittle high for a 2003, but totally worth it ).

Hard to tell, but it looks like it's only attached at the bumper ends and the side steps... probably not as much protection as one would hope.
