Soft Top

I have a soft top right now with soft uppers with pointed corners. I'm about to buy full hard doors with rouned corners. Will the full hard doors fit with my soft top, or will there be a gap? I don't really want to buy a new top, but it's about to get warm here, so I'll just have my bikini top on. So let me know the news, good or bad.

Quick answer - wont work with pointy door softop.

If you have pointed corners, then you most likely have the factory soft-top, or at least a factory replacement. So no, full steel doors will not work with the rest of your top. They will work with a bikini top. Perhaps you can sell your softop and upper half doors and buy the correct softop with rounded corners.

you won't even be able to close the doors because of the plastic hardware that runs down the windshield frame. The hard doors will work with a supertop, hardtop, or a few other soft tps like rockgear.
I just sold both my hardtop and factory soft top and put a Supertop on. It's pretty nice and 4Wd hardware lets you make 3 payments on it (and 10% off catalog price, too).

Just keep the doors off all together for the summer! Thats what I did last summer... no doors, and switched from the soft to bikini top... mostly no top though.

You have to get a Bestop Supertop or similar brand name with the rounded corners.

The top I have is a Bestop, and the plastic hardware for the soft top can be easily removed. I probably will wait on the doors, until next fall. Thanks for the input guys.
