Soft top rear window issues

I am having issues with my rear window. On the passenger side of my Jeep the zipper has pulled apart and I can't get the zipper past where it is separated. Does anyone know of a fix for this or am I stuck shelling out $350 for new factory windows?

can you sew it back together?

i have read a lot of people take their stuff to marine places to fix. since htey already are fixing the boats interiors and tops, what a jeep window to sew back

Thanks for replying. The zipper isn't ripped away from the fabric. The teeth are pulled apart above the zipper.

maybe they can put a new zipper on for you

Take a pair of pliers and crimp the zipper togeather a little,it may solve the problem.

Can you pull the driver side zipper around to the passenger side and see if playing with the 2 of the zippers gets the teeth in place? Just an idea. I've no clue really. Look on sewing sites for zipper tricks. May be able to apply to your zipper too.

A lot of good suggestions but once you a get zipper pulling apart, the teeth are already damaged. On the main top and window. A few safety pins across the broken part of the zipper will keep it from pulling more teeth apart. You can try cleaning the broken teeth and see if they will hold, but at this point your looking at replacing your whole top.
