Small issue-cigarette lighter won't work

Hey all,
My cigarette lighter plug won't work. However, my power plug will. Is the cig lighter a separate fuse? I'd like to power my gps form there at times....wondering if anyone else had issues....do I need to replace the inside of the cig lighter?

Should be a fuse marked cigarette lighter. I'm pretty sure its a different fuse from the aux power input one.

Yes it is a different fuse. I had a similar problem in my Jeep where there was no fuse in the slot, so I threw one in and it worked.

An fyi the cig lighter and power outlet are seperate circuits, and (brain fart... cant remember which) one is powered while the ignition switch is off and the othe only while it is on... so be careful what you plug into which one, you can drain your battery...
