Sloppy steering still after replacing steering gear box

Hey everyone! I was wondering if any of y'all ran into the problem I'm having. I replaced the steering gear box with a new one and I didn't fix the slop in the steering. If I drive under 10mph it's really tight and strong but then once I start driving faster it just becomes really sloppy. The steering wheel is cocked when the wheels are perfectly straight and when it's parked I can move the steering wheel 8-10 inches. Its a 2000 xj. Just trying to figure it out, thanks for yalls help!

Start with completing a dry steering test. Fix all worn and loose components and get an alignment from a shop that does off road vehicles 4x4. Be sure to get the alignment numbers.
