Ok so I have a 94 jeep wrangler YJ. Just bought a month ago. I love the jeep. But I have a severe oil leak coming from rear main seal. And I can't solve it. I have already done this job twice. Followed descriptive u tube videos. And yes I have changed valve cover and it is dry as a bone. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong.

Welcome to Jeepz.com. I have a small leak from the rear main seal in my TJ, and have looked at the videos on Youtube - looks like alot of work.
Was it better for a short time and then resumed leaking, or did it leak as soon as you replaced the seal?

are you sure its the oil seal and not the oil pan?
What i was thinking.
