Sagging cj

Crazy YJ setup

Even after I drag my big bottom out of my 79 cj-7 it still leans to the drivers side. So I put on a new Rough Country 2.5" lift with the new shackles and shocks that I already had on it and BAM! Still leans to the left! So what am I looking at here?? bent frame? If so, is this a cheap fix? Or should I just find someone bigger than me to ride shotgun!? BTW the tires are aired up the same...all around!

nope... most cjs lean... its not a prob... only worry if it doesnt lean

Someone posted on here that manufacturers usually will put a stiffer spring on the drivers side to compensate for the extra weight that is usually added to only one side, but yours is leaning in the wrong direction! is the frame in good shape, are the body mounts and bushings all in good shape. sometimgs the frame can be bent slightly or a body mount could be rusted and that side of the vehicle saggs a little! also cause you sit on that side hte most, the bushings may have pre-maturely mushroomed, hence ever so slightly lowering one side (but seeing that it is a 79 CJ, nothing would be pre-mature more like post-mature)

It's has new everything on it. What I didn't do in the rebuild was spend a lot of time checking the frame when I put it on. Looked straight to me, sat on the floor pretty even, so I didn't measure like I should have. Oh, well. Guess it's no big deal.
