RPM's at 65mph?

I'm curious to know what other people's RPMs are at 65 MPH. I have an auto 88 4.2 new engine, weber carb and juice box. I'm running at 2600 at 65-70 mph> Just want to see what the norm is? :-( :-D :-O :-? :evil: :-x :roll: :lol: [addsig]

I can tell you that 100km/h-120km/h runs about 2500-2600 on my 4.2l with borla catback (cat removed), weber carb, juicebox, bosch platinum sparkplugs, and timing set to about 8 BTDC.

63 MPH max, at 2800 max RPM. My jeep is geared for grunt, Motor is capable of 3800RPM (or more) but the granny box and 4:10's slow it way down.
Gonna swap out the 4:10's for 3:73's. (get a little hwy speed back)

How many jeepers actually have corrected the speedometer error that comes along with larger tires and/or gear changes? With so many different tire sizes, gear choices, transmissions, and engines, I don't know how you can compare all this info.[addsig]

I can understand were Bounty Hunter is coming from. I run 30x9.5/15 skins, which gives me a 4 MPH difference over stock tires. So, at 61 MPH, which is actually 65, I'm running about 2600 RPM with 3.73 R&P and an auto transmission.[addsig]
