Rough edge Riddlers

I have two new Riddler dif covers and both have a rough, serrated like surface on part of the outside edges around the mating surface. The mating surface itself is smooth. Has anyone had this on any brand of covers? Did you grind it smooth or just left it alone?

I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it's strong, and the mating sides are nice and smooth you should be fine.
