Again welcome to the board, Once you remover the interior pannel (this is for a YJ) there is a inspection plate held in place with 5 screws that cover the latching mechanism. Take that off. about 3 inches up and inward 3 inches or so, there are two small allen head screws, remove those, remove the latch bar and the handle can be removed!
