Redrilling leaf springs?

The wife told me I can't go four wheeling anymore until I get her Yj done.

So I would like to know what are the pros and or cons to redrilling the Yj leaf springs about 2 inches? That would fix a drive line issue that I have and increase her wheel base.

wow your wife has a nice wheel base

I say NO

Not hard, I've done it, 2 better methods that won't lead to a lot of broken springs..
You did not mention your lift or type...
.
if your SOA
1. look for front waggy springs, or rancho 44044 would be a good up grade, same basic length of the YJ srpings, the center pin is already offset 3 inches.

if your spring under
2. re-drill your spring plate and spring perch 2 inches and move the axle back that way, much better idea, I have also done this method, works great.

Thanks. Her yj is spring under. I upgraded her to a 3.8 v6 with TH350 and a S-10 231. I have to remake the rear drive shaft anyway, so I was thinking of streching the Wheel base while I was there. I might also put an 8.8 under it also.

Have you given any thought to how you will keep the rear diff out of the fuel tank?

What exactly is your "driveline issue"?

with a small diff like a D35, maybe a 8.8 but definatly a D35, you can go back 2 inches max.
