Rear Sway Bar

Ive got an 88 xj with a 2.5 inch lift and i romoved the front sway and really liked and was wonding if anyone with an xj has removed there reay sway and if so how did you disconnect it and re connect it and how did you like the performance.

I ditched the rear swaybar when I did the lift. I ran the front without one for a while, but it was a little shaky so I ponied up and bought disconnects.
 
i'm not sure how you'd do the rear since i'm not an xj owner, but i'd recommend getting some discos so you could keep at least one swaybar connected for road use.
 

Swaybars minimize body roll when onroad, and add stability in many instances offroad when used on a flexy vehicle.

I recommend removing the rear on an XJ, and always use the front swaybar when onroad. I've driven my MJ without it and it's a lot of body roll, too much for a coil spring suspension. Leaf spring setups can get away with it.
