rear end questions

So while looking for my new cherokee Ive noticed something that seems pretty standard on all of them. The rear brake line isn't exactly in the safest position and seems VERY vulnerable for any off road exercises. Is there enough slack in it to attach it better or does it require changing out the whole brake line?

The other question I had is differential breathers. On my yota there was a nissan part (i know go figure) that threaded right into the stock breather hole and that allowed the person to attach a vaccuum hose up and underneath the rear lights, or wherever you wanted to put it. Is that possible with cherokees?

I haven't seen many rear rubber lines get damaged on Cherokees, it's close enough behind the driver's side tire and the leaf springs help deflect most problems.

You can run a rear brake line from a '95 Dodge Dakota if you want more length.

As for the breather lines, just by longer hose and run it wherever you choose.

My factory breather hose runs inside the back area. And x2 on the brake line. Been taking mine out for 4-5 years and so far hasn't been an issue.
