rattling noise in front of 4.0

I cant pinpoint the rattling noise coming from the front of my 4.0.How can I tell if it is the vibration damper or the tensioner pulley or something else?

Use a long screw driver pry bar pipe or whatever with it running put it agaist or very close to whatever u think it may be and put ur ear to the other end u should be able to pin point it like that

Belt off. If the noise is gone, it's one of the accessories. If the noise is still there. balancer is hooped (and you can usually see it wobble)

+1 also with belt off spin all pulleys and feel for roughness and listen for noise. Eyeball the dampener and see if it's slid on the rubber and also grab water pump pulley and see if there's any back and forth play.
