Heh, innoculous by comparison but I remember years ago after an all nighter getting tight at a friends old farmhouse, was walking out the screen door and something flew right into my face. In my stupor I backpedaled so fast I damn near knocked over the refer. Turned out to be a timber moth (they have a wingspan of about 5"-6" and a body like a stogie.

Now that could definitely hurt someone on a motorcycle on the highway. I've done a lot of poker runs from county to county and even out of state trips. I've had my fair share of bug splats all over me by the time i reached my destination. Fun colors though; yellow, orange, brown ,white and black, depends on the type of bug i guess.
