Have owned a Jeep for years and have decided to get a new one. Found a 2000 Sahara for sale with a 4" lift (professionaly installed) & 33" tires. My only problem is I don' t know the right questions to ask to make sure all the necessary steps where taken to make the lift done right.

Here are a couple things I do know - could you please help me on things to look for and questions to ask? Thanks!

- Has lockout hubs on the rear tires.

- Did not drop down the transfer case, but changed the length of the drive shaft to prevent binding.

- Only has a Dana 30 (front) and Dana 35 (rear) - is that enough?

So, what questions should I ask to make sure this lift was done properly?

Sounds good so far.

Did they put on the dropped pitman arm, extended control arms, brake hoses, sway bar disconnects? Personally, I would still drop the t-case. The d-35 rear is known to be weak in the axle tubes. If you do serious wheelin then upgrade to the 44, but overall, the 35 will work. If you keep the 35, consider getting the axle tube trusses for it. Make sure to drive it -- 2whl and 4whl high and low. On a TJ there really isn't much to mess up installing a lift, as long as they put all the parts on.[addsig]
