Pro comp Xterrains

I have now decided to get 31x10.50 R15 Xterrain radials for my 95' Yj. I am just wondering if anybody has these and how they like them. Also I was looking at the tires and noticing that they have directional tread, when I mount them is one side of the car backwards tread?

you can get them mounted on each side differently... but when/if you rotate them to the other side, they will be backwards

it really doesn't matter, its a 50/50 chance it will be going on the correct side... but when you put a spare on, it is good to check your treads and get it rotated to the most efficient pattern anyway... and with directional tire patterns, it may be required that you remount some of the tires to do so

We have had mixed reviews with these tires. The tread worked well in rocks and soupy mud, but did not do well in snow or thick NY clay mud. We do have a number of guys running the front tires backwards when running offroad so thaqt they have the same traction in revearse. I do it with my claws also.

This also improves steering response when moving forward.
