power steering fluid leak

My '85 CJ has developed a power steering fluid leak due to the hose clamp on the radiator hose chafing on it. The leak is in the high pressure line underneath the radiator hose. My question is...How do I remove the PS line from the steering sector? The connection is in an almost unreachable position. For now, I slid a piece of tubing in the chafe area and clamped with a couple of hose clamps. That got me back to the house, but I want to fix it right.

THe hoses are available at Autozone. I think they are like $18. I don't recall it being all that hard to get off, but it has been a while. Worse case would be having to drop the steering box down a little to get to it. Mine is a V8 so there may be some difference in the hose, but still shouldn't be all that difficult.
You have the right idea of putting a piece of hose or conduit around it to protect from rubbing. You may consider using that again with the new hose.

Dropping the steering sector or pulling the radiator was my next course of action. Thanks.
