Powdered Alcohol is now a thing

The federal government has just approved the first powderized alcohol - it's essentially dehydrated vodka or rum inside a little air-tight package. It's likened to an adult version of Kool-Aid.

This sure would make packing for a camping trip easier

Well now that's the kind of innovations I don't mind my tax dollars being spent on . This could really catch on . It's sure to put a spin on " that good ole Mountain Dew " ! Let's not try some in our jeeps though . LoL
 

Looks like they'll pull it even before it hits the market.

A product called "Palcohol" gained widespread attention online in recent days after it was reported that the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau approved the powdered alcohol, including vodka and rum varieties. But a representative for the federal bureau, Tom Hogue, said in an email to The Associated Press late Monday that the approvals were issued in error.

So, if you a carrying a packet and it's torn open, do ya get nailed with an open container charge if the cops see it?
 

Just mix a little with water and instant fuel!
