Powdered Alcohol is now a thing

The federal government has just approved the first powderized alcohol - it's essentially dehydrated vodka or rum inside a little air-tight package. It's likened to an adult version of Kool-Aid.

This sure would make packing for a camping trip easier

A product called "Palcohol" gained widespread attention online in recent days after it was reported that the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau approved the powdered alcohol, including vodka and rum varieties. But a representative for the federal bureau, Tom Hogue, said in an email to The Associated Press late Monday that the approvals were issued in error.

Just think of it. Instead of two condiment shakers (salt and pepper) We will now need a third one for alchohol.

I didn't know it was on the market yet. I thought it was only approved for production.
