please help grand cherokee laredo windows

Please help!!!!! i have a 98 Grand Cherokee Laredo With the 4.0 motor I've tried everything I can find online about my windows not working and don't want to take it to the dealership unless I absolutely have to I've replaced the window switch on the drivers side, pulled every single fuse and tested them, checked under every boot in every door to find no broken wires anywhere. My power windows still wont work throughout the entire vehicle somebody has to know something please help

Did you check the fuses under the hood?

yes I checked all of them

Try disconnecting battery and shorting leads together. Worked on a 04 gr Cherokee with similar problem

well that didnt work either anybody else have any ideas

is there power and ground to the switch on the driver side. and did you check if the window lockout is depressed. ive seen that a bunch of times. is there power and ground going to the motor also.

I've tested the connector with a continuity tester and the black wire is the only one that is giving a reading nothing else is do you have any idea what that could mean cougarlasch
