Pass. fog light not workin

hey guy... back again... i swear i have more little problems with this jeep... but anyway... i have the two fog lights on the front bumper, and one has gone out... its not the bulb, not the fuse, and not the switch... i looked at the wiring, and it dosent look to be that either. the driver side works, passenger dont. a couple days ago, the wiring to the fog light started smoking and melting together... a lil help? any suggestions? i am at my wits end with these stuid lights... bout to just take the paint off the regular headlights and convert them to h.i.d.

Short in the fog lamp assembly itself or a short / bad ground somewhere else in wiring to that lamp is most likely

ok cool, thanx for the input... ill check the ground inside the assembly... when it actually quit workin, the ground had popped off on its own, so i put it back on and thats when it started smokin and the wires melted together. it is still a tad loose, but for somw reason it never crossed my mind that could be the problem... had alot goin on lately... today i went to subway and asked for a 12 foot sub lmfao
