Joopin,

It's a rock face that is approachable but very fast turns practically straight uphill. It doesn't level off at the top much either, you have to fight your way over it. Wish I knew the degree but I'm horrible at those things. All I know is there is a cliff in the vicinity and you'll never ge me up there. lol An H1 scaled it the weekend I was there and just that was so impressive. lol I believe Tom (White) has a chevy pickup. I can't imagine how he did it.

I may be thinking of the wrong wall but I'm pretty sure that is the one Mike is talking about.

Lady - I posted some pics of the "wall". I was with Tom on 2-22-04 when he scaled it - here's a pic of Tom in the foreground trying to coax me into runnin' it. This is as far as I got - too much flex in the front end - If I re-connected I would have gone for it...NEXT TIME!

it's the same "Wall" - Tom struggled a little to get up & over it until he spun his tires dry...

problem is photos always make hills look "flat" and people look "fat". .

Is the paragon all rocks? or is it mud and crap too?
 

Yeah, it's the wall on coal road..or something like that...Lady it is the Hill we saw the hummer go up!

Yes, please come all...but the us from New England are gonna have some stockers.

loved it when i went on 2/22 looks like i'ma hit it up again with ya'll if ya don't mind. just gotta check on how things look..not sure if i can do both days but one for sure. frankie maybe we can meet up again..i don't know the way at all.
 

yeah we can head up together. we'll figure something out when it gets closer. i also let my buddy nick know with the green tj from last time.
 
ive never been to the paragon before, but i really want to go. will a basically stock tj witha 2" budget lift and discos be ok on the blue and green trails? and i hope no one minds having a rookie with them i never really took my jeep offroad so there is alot for me to learn. it would prolly take me longer to get through some of the stuff that other guys would blaze right through. :oops:

I think you'll find the majority of us east coasters real easy to get along with and very patient. I haven't ran with everyone coming this time, but about a 1/3 of them maybe. We had a stock run in Oct and did ver well with none or slight mods done. Everyone is cool and no one expects miracles. Everyone hs bad moments and a heck of alot of good ones too! Paragon offers something for everyone, so I think you'll be fine!

Hey LGR and frankiefire... how far is the Paragon from Jersey? It sounds like you guys are a little more north than I am *Asbury Park area*... just wondering what I'm in for, my guess is 2 hours or so.
 
its like 2 hours from us..and i think you are about an hour from us. if you come yer better off meeting at the gas station up by paragon, unless you want to take an extra hour ride. we still got time to figure this out though. hey frankie ya going saturday, sunday or both?
