What do you guys think of this aftermarket top and doors for $850





I think it's a decent deal. I like that the top is split, and easier to store.
It's for a 97 TJ, and I've got an 05 - any idea if I'll have issues with the fit? I know there were minor changes between 97-02 and 03-06.

I've never seen a TJ hard top like that. I like it. So it also comes with the uppers for half doors? Seems like it might be a decent deal if not on the high side. Offer less, of course, and see what happens. I don't know if there would be fitment issues.

I'll be selling the hard top on my 03 but probably not until spring when I can put a soft top on.

I'm thinking this top will be much easier to store when I'm not using it. I don't really care about the uppers, I'd probably sell those (I've got full doors and half doors already).

We'll see - I don't want to get myself too talked into this, because I'd need to get a deal before I bought it.

According to the friends I know with JKs [3 part roof] they are bad to leak where the seal is - may or may not be a problem with that top.

I can't believe how much hard tops are selling for now. I did a quick search on Craigslist and they are all over $1000. Is that the going rate now? I sold the one off my 04 for 800 about 12 years ago.

If it seems in good condition, and you can see out of the windows I would go for it. I would also make sure it properly fits and the reasoning they are selling/have it. I would get the price down regardless, just my way of rolling. When I asked my Father in law if i could marry his daughter, he said he wanted 2 bottles of whiskey and some reindeer meat, I offered 1 bottle and half the take of the deer or no deal :lol:.
