Offroad fun?

anyone from illinois around here? I am currently in central illinois, but I spend time up north by the east side of Chicago. Does anyone know of any good spots around here to go offroading. Legit spots lol I know of Crystal lake over in Michigan. Thats about it

This post should be in the "general" forum...but anyway there are a couple of places closer than Silver Lake. Badlands ORP is in Attica,In.(about 100mi SE of Chicago) & theres an off road park in Marselles,Il. (I can't remember the name right now). Both are nice parks & an easy day trip from Chicago or Normal.

I would stay away from Crystal lake. A friend of my told me there was some crazy Dude up there with a hockey mask. No bueno.
