non jeep related i have a 1990 nissan maxima with a bad transmission . my question is will a 1987 transmission from nissan maxima bolt right in or is it not even possible. thank for any help on this. if it was up to me i would just run it over with my jeep :lol: [addsig]

hmm... i'd check the internet to see when the sequence of years went. if the maxima was made with the same body style and engine from 86-92, then chances are you're in. you'll also have to check things like are they both automatic/manual? same splines on output shaft? ................................ ask on a maxima board!
