No lift - 30 950 15 tires..new suggestions

i bet you could run 30's without a problem. I have 31's on a grand cherokee with no lift. The 30 is close to a 245 or 255. I would post something in the wrangler section, you might get more response.

that is the stock size tire, any tire you want will fit with out issue, also 31" tires will fit on a tj.

I ran 31x10.5x15 on my stock tj for awhile and didn't have any problems. You might have a little rub at full lock or offroad.

And if you are looking for brand, the BFG AT work pretty well in most conditions.

I have 30x9.50 BFG All-Terrains on my "99TJ......Love em! I ran 30x9.50 Generals on a "95YJ for about 3yrs....they were great tires, almost the same tread pattern as the BFGs.

When I had my Cherokee, I went to the tire store and was just gonna get 30's and the guy talked me out of it saying they'd rub bad even after I told him I didn't care to hammer and cut.

Comparing apples to oranges, you can't fit 30" on a Cherokee with no lift, whereas you can fit 31" tires on a TJ with no lift.

Extra Medium stated above he had 31's on a Grand Cherokee. I figured a Cherokee and a Grand Cherokee was apples to apples other than the Grands a little nicer. Maybe there's a difference I don't know of in the basic suspension and ride hight.

I would go 31. I've seen 33 with 2" spacers but rubbed a bit. I had to lift 5.5 inches to run 33 on my xj. Lol.

There is. Grands are coil front and rear with a longer wheel base where a normal cherokee (xj) is coil front and leaf rear.

I'm running 30X9.5X15's on stock suspension with no rubbing at all. There is clearly room to go to 3X10X15's which will probably what I'll put on next time it needs tires.

I just put Safari TSR 31-1050-15's on my TJ, the side tread rubs a little bit all full turn, but they fit just fine, and haul ass on the trails!
