OK. I'm a Jeep person. I've had 4 of them in the last 30 years. One Cherokee, the other three Wranglers. I love them, depend upon them to get me where I need to go! I live high on a mountain, and in the Winter wouldn't make it home if it were not for my Jeep!

Sadly, my latest Jeep Wrangler is a 97. Getting old. I need a new soft top and have some rust in bad places.

I looked at the new Wranglers - like the 4 door ones - except I can't find one with a standard transmission. To me, driving a Wrangler with an automatic transmission would be as odd as driving a cadillac with a stick. Doesn't fit.

I did come across a notice about maybe the Jeep pickup coming back - saw a prototype on it and was WOWED. I'd buy one in a minute.

Nice to see a Jeep forum - sending a big wave to all of you out there on the roads!

Welcome to Jeepz.com!

You shouldn't have too much of a problem finding a new JK (that's the name of the new Wrangler) with a stick - there are plenty of them. Also, having an automatic isn't that bad!

As to the Jeep Pickup, AEV makes a kit ($5000 +) called the brute that will convert your Jeep Wrangler into a pickup.

Jeep also came out with a concept car called the Gladiator, but I wouldn't hold your breath for them to go into production.
