I will be putting a 1" body and shackle lift on my 95 YJ. 2" overall lift. I want to know if I will need to alter the shocks? will stock shocks work ok? is poly the best material to use for a body lift?[addsig]

Suspenstion will only be going one inch. I am sure your orginal suspension has saged that much over the years so you should not have the need to change out your shocks. Then again it is a good reason to get new shocks! hehehehe Tug

yeah, with one inch, you will be alright with an inch... but like he said, its a good time to go with new shocks... even if they are autozone cheapos... the DO work[addsig]

i would only recomend shocks if your going 2" up in the suspension your body lift has nothing to do with the suspension.in other words you won't need shocks.[addsig]

but.. remember.. those shocks could be stock.. and if they are.. they'd be about 9 years old[addsig]
