New Rear Rotors Brake Noise

I've never owned or worked on a jeep before.
but my friend asked me to do her brakes on her 09 Wrangler
I put new pads and rotors all around, and once it was back together I noticed a scraping noise coming from the rear wheels when driving. I thought it may be the old emergency brake shoes on the new rotors, and worked the e-brake up and down a few times but the noise still occurs.
anyone have experience with this?

the noise could be a sticking caliper, that may be why she needed new rotors.

That was my first thought, but the noise wasn't there before I replaced everything.
Also it doesn't seem to pull at all when I brake. I think it's probably just the e-brake shoes dragging because the noise is definitely only coming from the rear.

There is an adjustment on the rear drum. I noticed there is a hole in the drum, it's a self adjusting mechanism. You need to adjust it only when you replace the shoes. Start adjusting it, the spin the wheel, until it stops scraping

Thanks for the help, pulled it all back apart early yesterday morning and found that my buddy had bent the dust shield while wailing on a rotor with a hammer.
He's like a raging bull once he sets his mind to something
