New locker switches & RCA jacks

Just finished my latest project. I uploaded this picture from my Itouch....it cut off the RCA jacks. Here's some more. There were two holes in my dash on either side of the cigarette lighter and they were perfect for the RCA jacks. I used the Daystar vent panel switches because they mounted the locker switches up high where I wouldn't accidentally engage them. Plus, I can keep my eyes on the trail at that height. Now all I have to do is find a new set of climate controls. I've seen them on a lot of other Chrysler vehicles, so I should be able to find some in a junkyard somewhere. The vent control just stopped working and I was only able to get one fan speed......High or nothing at all.

Looks good!

You know the fan speed issue is the resistor and do a search on other problems. The vent control could be as easy as a vacuum line disconnected or leaking. I'd hate to see you buying parts that may not fix your issues.

I've seen a couple of posts about the resistor problem. I'll check the vacuum lines, but I'm not sure there are any actually. I think they're all electrically controlled? All three of the switches felt pretty loose and wore out, so I'm hoping to just find a set out of a Chrysler mini-van or Town & Country at the junkyard. I don't ever use the A/C anymore and whenever I drive it in the winter, the defroster throws out enough heat to get it pretty toasty in the whole cab. It's not really a big deal if it only blows out of the top from now on.

The hvac doors are controled by vacuum and the blower is electricaly controled. Check the vac. Line going thru the firewall on the passenger side by the drier. There should be a tee connector going down under the battery. There's a vacuum reservoir under there. Check the rubber fitting for cracks. Also follow the vacuum line to the intake manifold and check it for cracks as well.
The blower issue, if all you have is high, the problem is most likely the resistor block.
