New lift???

I currently have a 2" BDS body lift on my jeep. Its time it went up a little higher and I have been researching possible lifts to buy on my tight budget. I dont want to waste my money on something thats going to break and leave me screwed somewhere. I have been looking into this new suspension lift out thats a pretty damn good deal if you ask me. 4" suspension with shocks and dropped pitman arm for $425. Havent heard much about them. Tell me what yall' think.

Thanks.

Where has been Utah ?

From what I've heard and seen you'll be happy with that kit. www.rustysoffroad.com has some good kits at a good price, but they're not quite as complete. I run his 3.5" kit without a drop pitman arm.

a little more will get you a RE kit which is known to be good and flexy, i know theres a lot of debate on here about hellcreek and rough country versus the more expensive ones but o well.

actually do yourself a major favor before you order anything, call bobs suplee, theyre very comptetivley priced and their prices include shipping. they carry BDS. BDS has a great lift that flexes like hell, i have a buddy running the BDS lift with 32" swampers and a 2 inch body lift and he runs stuff that most people wont even look at. hes a great driver granted, but he rti's with the spring overs

Bob is a great buisnessman and is totally honesy and willing to help, if he says he'll call you back in 10, be there in 5 because he works to get stuff done as quick as possible. i got my doestech shocks from him for 37 shipped each. most people want that much or more for them w/o shipping.
good luck

That is a good price for a complete lift kit. I have dealt with Hell Creek myself. I think the guy's name is Tom Laher, he is a good guy and the leaf springs are top quality.

RE: Propane Tank question

The reason I want a cheaper lift is mainly the money supply. Theres never quite enough around to do what I want. I would like to get one of the more expensive flexier lifts out there but I cant quite dump that much $$$ into my jeep right now. I already have a 2" body lift and 32"s and my jeep goes where I want it to around here. I guess the main reason would be just to get the chassie off the ground a little farther. I live in Tallahassee so there's not alot of trails for me to ride. The majority of my wheelin is through mud holes while im hunting. A flexier lift would be nice though.

Thanks for the info.

Re: Serious for a Change - Jobs

Ive been running the HellCreek 4" lift and pretty much lovin it! - Tom Laher is the guy you'll deal with and his customer service is top notch (NEVER waited for a reply from e-mail more than one day - usually just hours!) They use Rough Country hardware and shocks w/their own springs - my only other experience was on my old 91 YJ w/Pro-Comp's 4" ("NO FLEX!!!) lift - i'm pretty happy w/this one though - i'm sure there's more squishy springs out there but i'm running no rear track bar or front sway bar, have NO problems on-road and pretty good flex off road - just my $.02
