new kargo rack with light questions

I just installed a safari Kargo rack on my 81. I mounted 4 lights to it and am unsure of the best way to run the wires. I will be removing the top from time to time and would like suggestions on what kind of disconnect and where to run the wiring. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Bry

When I wired a strobe on my "95(for use with the snowplow) I used a 2 conductor flat plug.It's just like the 4 conductor trailer light plugs,but only 2 conductors. The big issue is getting plugs with heavy enough wire. I picked mine up at a swap meet,but a parts store with a decent electrical stock should have them or be able to order them. I ran the wiring on the inside along the windshield frame with the plug near the top. When connected the wire runs out at the top of the door...when discd the plug tucks behind the visor.
