I went this weekend to the local jeep dealer and saw the new Commander in their show room! Way dissappointed! It is even smaller that I thought it was going to be. Those pictures they have on the website make it look much bigger! In side it's small, cramped and made with cheap looking plastic material. It said it had leather seats, but they looked like vinyl to me. And NO one is going to be able to get back into the third row...well maybe a small kid if you help them into the car, and they crawl over the seat after you lay it down. It looks like the old style cherokee's with a third row in the back.
On another note I decided to add to my jeep family and bought a new 2005 Grand Cherokee limited with the hemi and pretty much everything else that goes into one. Didn't want it that way, but the only way I could get what I wanted, and they gave me a pretty good deal to boot. Now I can get to work with AC!!!!!! And will give me time to work on the CJ's engine!
