need help getting my xj in 4-Low

I've got a 94 xj, 4.0/auto, not sure of the t-case model #, but it goes into 4 High just fine, but I can't seem to get it into 4-Low, is there a certain gear or something you have to do to get it to slip into gear? or do I just have to pull harder on the lever?,lol. Thanks guys/gals.

With the jeep rolling at around 2 mph, shift it to 4lo with the trans in neutral.

if that dont work back up a few ft than try again

Put the transmission in Neutral, and it slipped into 4lo just fine, thanks for the info guys.
